Managing Director / Director Of Operations: Brian Stead is determined
and ruthless in his management of Mogul Oil. In his late fifties, Stead has become
consumed with the power struggles in the Mogul boardroom and is determined to
fight and survive any challenge poised against him - even at the cost of his own
health. He will exploit any situation, use any information at this disposal, and
cast adrift any member of staff who does not provide total and complete loyalty
to the corporation. Stead
was played by actor Geoffrey Keen. |

Agent / Troubleshooter: Peter Thornton
is a tough and grizzled individual who has risen through the ranks of Mogul Oil
over the years. Oil courses through his veins, and he can recognize an opportunity
to draw black gold from the earth instantly. A determined and indomitable man,
Thornton can deal with the highest levels of the company in the boardroom, and
the drilling and mining operators across the world, with equal diplomacy and deftness
of touch should it so dispose him. He is one of the company's "troubleshooters",
tackling the difficult jobs with his customary determination to seek an outcome
best suited to the corporation. Thornton was played by actor Ray
Barrett. |

Secretary / Chief Accountant: Willy Izard is responsible for ensuring
that Mogul Oil remains profitable. He keeps a keen eye trained on the investments
the corporation makes, and the finances invested in mining and drilling operations
worldwide. He receives counsel from Stead and Thornton in this regard, but has
to make practical decisions which either party may not ultimately agree to. Less
inclined to enter into the political foray of the boardroom, Izard, whilst loyal
to Mogul, has not made it his life's work, preferring to direct the majority of
his energies towards maintain a harmonious family life. Izard was played by actor
Philip Latham. |

Manager: Derek Prentice performs the role of "peacekeeper"
at Mogul Oil, ensuring that staff are not overtly stressed and work harmoniously
together. He is usually dispatched from the boardroom to assess stress levels
on the rigs, and attend to human resources issues as and when required. A gentle
and diplomatic man, Prentice is responsible for finding the best solutions to
staffing problems which will not only be to the benefit of Mogul Oil, but to the
people he deals with on a human and compassionate level. Prentice was played by
actor Ronald Hines. |

Relations Officer: Robert Driscoll is responsible for Mogul Oil's corporate
image. When a directive from the boardroom passes across his desk, he is the man
responsible for ensuring that the corporation is reflected in the best possible
light. His ambitious and determined attitude towards exploiting every possible
opportunity brings him into conflict with his colleagues, but he is always able
to turn a situation to the maximum possible advantage - both for himself and for
Mogul. Driscoll was played by actor Barry Foster. |
